Dr. Harsha Jauhari is one of India’s most respected pioneering transplant surgeons, with over 35 years of experience more than 9,500 successful renal transplant surgeries performed. He has also conducted around 3,500 CAPD catheter insertions, one of the largest series in India. Dr. Jauhari’s contributions extend beyond clinical expertise to include significant work in medical ethics, law, policy-making, transplant program development at both national international levels. As a key advisor to the Ministry of Health Family Welfare, Government of India, since 2014, he has been instrumental in shaping the National Organ Transplant Programme (NOTP) National Organ Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO). He is widely recognized for his leadership, medico-legal expertise, his dedication to training the next generation of transplant surgeons.
