Dr. Sushant Srivastava is one of India’s most accomplished cardiothoracic vascular surgeons, with more than 25 years of experience over 11,000 successful surgeries performed. Known for his patient-centric versatile surgical approach, he has operated extensively on CABG, valve repairs replacements, complex congenital heart diseases. During his tenure at AIIMS, he performed approximately 3,000 cardiac procedures played a pivotal role in India’s first heart transplant surgeries, managing donor care assisting in the first 10 heart transplants in the country. He also received advanced training in ventricular assist devices (artificial heart) from Temple University, Philadelphia, USA.
